What does Self Care mean to you?

This week is National Self Care Week in the UK (18-24th November 2019) and I am proud to be a Self Care Champion with the Self Care Forum.  Today is a total ‘Wellness Wednesday’ for me (one of my favourite hashtag days on Instagram) because I am taking part in the Talk Health Partnership Twitter Hour and tonight I am hosting a Self Care Inspiration Talk at Speldhurst Village Hall.

Talk Health Self Care Twitter Hour

To mark Self-Care Week, Talk Health Partnership are hosting a Self-Care Twitter Chat Wednesday 20 November between 1-2pm GMT on their Twitter Page @talkhealth. They will be asking a range of questions, including self-care and your social life, work and relationships, coping with chronic conditions and more. Following the success of their previous chats, the Talk Health team believe the chat will encourage a positive conversation between a range of influencers - yes one of those is me @mrsrachelletham (on Twitter), their members, charities and medical experts. To join the discussion, simply reply and follow along using #talkselfcare - I look forward to chatting to you on Twitter.

Self Care Inspiration Talk

I am joining Supporting Speldhurst at the Speldhurst Village Hall for an evening of Self Care Inspiration. I'll be sharing my own self care journey from burnout to balance and my tips on how to bring moments of mindfulness into your life.  I'll be talking about what self care actually is, how it isn't at all selfish and sharing my tips and strategies to easily bring it into your day to day routine. It will be a fun, relaxed, interactive workshop and you can register interest on their Facebook page; the event runs from 8-10pm GMT at Speldhurst Village Hall.
